My GF is From a Large Family and I am Afraid of the Financial Burden Because they Are Poor

I am 29 years of age dating a girl of 26 years. We have been dating for about a year now and I love her very much. Although it is not more than a year since we started going out, it is as if we have known ourselves forever. She is very beautiful and intelligent though she has no post secondary school education.

I do not have a problem with that since I intend to marry her and help her further her education .

The issue that I am not comfortable with her is her large family and polygamous background coupled with the fact that there is pressure on her to get married to a wealthy man owing to her family’s financial status which is poor. Her father has 4 wives and 27 Children. She is the first girl of her mother and has 8 younger ones below her.

Although I am not doing badly financially since I have a good paying job, I still would not want to start a family and end up being stagnated by financial burdens from my wife’s family members. Please I need advice on how to handle this.

Should I quit the relationship and search for a more affluent lady or Should I brace myself up for future financial obligations to her large family.
